- Can I port over my post-paid number to Zero1 if it is registered under someone else's ID?

Yes, you can port your existing post-paid mobile number to Zero1 even if it is currently registered under someone else's NRIC/FIN. However, it cannot be done online.

As part of our enhanced security measures to protect customers against unauthorized number transfers and potential scam activities, mobile numbers registered under another person's NRIC/FIN must first undergo a Transfer of Ownership (TOS) at our Zero1 Customer Service Centre before they can be ported into Zero1.

What do I need to do?

Both the current owner and the new owner must visit the Zero1 Customer Service Centre together to complete the Transfer of Ownership.

Please bring:

  • The original physical NRIC/FIN of both the current owner and the new owner.
  • Supporting proof of mobile number ownership (e.g. the latest mobile bill from your existing service provider showing the mobile number).

Once the Transfer of Ownership has been successfully completed, the port-in request to Zero1 can be facilitated.

Transfer of Ownership Charges

Why is this required?

This security measure ensures that mobile numbers can only be ported after they have been registered under the new owner's identity, helping to prevent unauthorized number transfers and protect customers against potential scam activities.
