You shouldn’t have to reconfigure your phone, however, there may be a few settings you’d want to check if your 5G services are not working. Check that the preferred network type is “5G (preferred)/4G/3G” – this ensures that if 5G is available, it will lock into that signal, and if it is not, it will lock onto the 4G network. If there is a “5G network mode” setting, set it to “auto select”.  Please note that settings may differ by phone model and manufacturer.
